Swearsies. Was 131 in this picture. Am 130.2 today. I seem to have lost inches mysteriously. :) I'm not doing anything magical. You know? But it's almost as if I'm losing fat and replacing with muscle without eating more of anything.

Same here. I have a pic of myself in a dress in March that fit perfectly. Same weight, 9 months later, it is too loose on me.

@sillykitty Cute outfit, however if you are a Chargers fan it won’t help today.

Never-mind! So far karma got me for posting anything.

It wasn't karma @Cheeseburgh, being in a football-less town until recently has left me without any NFL loyalties. 🤣

Yes! Exactly! Somewhere in essential 3-5 lbs I've lost an entire size and a half. Things just bag off me! It's so surreal! I can't even figure out the science behind it cuz we're not supposed to be able to be able to have anabolism and catabolism simultaneously. That's why body builders bulk then cut, and bulk and cut. Right?

My body may have decided to defend a lower set point rather than the 135lbs that I thought it was happy at. I have lost and gained the same 2-5lbs from 130-135lbs for a while now. Just last week I briefly saw 129lbs. Now after a big weekend of fun and frivolity, I came back at only 130.2lbs--which means I may be 2lbs lighter by Friday.

I'm not hatin' on that--honestly. I have wanted to reach my super triple top secret BDG Goal since I started this process. But when it didn't look like I would ever hit my 130lbs goal, I kinda released that into the ether and called maintenance at 135lbs revised goal.

Then I hit 130lbs and revised the revised goal back to 130lbs. But now it looks as if I might actually make 125lbs (super triple top secret Barbie Dream Girl Goal). I'm pretty thrilled at this weight and I love how I look in clothes these days (or at least I'm moving in that direction). My gigantor turkey thighs are slightly less pronounced now. And I asked Mr. F. if he thought I looked too thin or sickly. He said that I didn't. He's very honest and objective, so I know I can go to him as a touchstone with reality.

I bought 3 pairs of size 8 skinny jeans from goodwill this weekend. And I'm actually in between a 6 and an 8--oddly so. The legs fit, but the the little bit of belleh skin doesn't let me fasten them. Wah. Oh well.

I saw my plastics dude last Friday. A bit of a buzz kill. He told me my insurance wouldn't cover the saggy droopy booty, even though it was giving me significant issues. He did say that I have very very little excess fat on my body - as he was looking at me totes nekkidy and that he didn't want me to lose any more. Of course I lied and said, "Swearsies! I'm not plannin' on it!" (wink wink nudge nudge saynomore...)

He still says that I need to wait on my capular contractures in the reconstructed foobs. But he wants me to consider getting nerp tats so I look more like a real gingerbread girl--and less like a Skipper Doll (Barbie's younger annoying kid sister--anotomically incorrect and lacking a kung fu grip). Still chewing on that one. Don't know what to do with that information yet.

Sorry for the book!!! :(

You look great, and totally skinny minnie!

Why wait on the capsular contracture? Wouldn't getting tattoos before having the implants swapped out be backwards?

My LBL is far more affordable than I was expecting ... so maybe even without insurance it could be a consideration?

But I will say, at the plastics dude, they take full nudies of me from all angles. And I was exactly 10lbs heavier from one set to this time. And the girls said holy hell! Look at how different you look. She showed me from previous to current and she said look how defined you are here. And it was really eye opening. So I've no idea what's going on.

He said that with the extensive recon they had to do, that the chances of having another set of contractures is >35%. And that it increases the likelihood that it will make my lymphedema worse. He just wants me to be at the point of not being able to wait it out any longer. And he said, at least we know what we're dealing with here instead of inviting the cat in the hat into the room at this point when I'm doing so well, looking so great, and have fabulous boobs. So he's hoping maybe that the nerps would make me feel better about myself self-esteem wise from a nekkidy standpoint.

I'm not lying...there is no sex in town these days. The excess skin is crazy bad. KWIM? And I just don't feel like havin sex and being nekkidy with it. I know...Counselor time...LOL. So I think he's trying to think creatively.

He said if we go back in, my best bet is to do the DIEP flap procedure which will suck, cuz part of the pain issue is I had a bilateral lat flap procedure so it was almost 360* around the chest. Then to have the diep, they'll likely tear down all of the lat flap and cadaver recon and pull from my belly? He said at best, I would be a size A (wouldn't mind that), but he also said that they won't look gorgeous, there will be more scars, and it's about an 11 hour operation due to the prior recon work. So no. It's a lot of risk...

I think he's hoping he will talk me out of ever having the capsular contraction stuff done.

Ok ... this is a whole different ball game! Way more complex then swapping out some implants!!

The only advice I have is put a blindfold on Mr. F, if that is what it takes, and have yourself a proper workout 🤣

HAHAHAHAAHA! IKR? Pretty much MASSIVE amounts of alcohol would need to be involved and then I'd pass out before the deed was done! LOL :) But I know we will figure it all out! TY for listening and helping!!

I get it, Fluffy. I do. The loose skin mental battle is starting with me, too, and I know that I will get even more loose skin with the next 40 lbs. I am so far able to work through it, and I’m forcing myself to walk nekkid in front of my husband. I have been since the start. But the compulsion to hide is there.

Anyhoo, I’m home sick today so no pics, but here is yesterday’s outfit. I was out and about with my partner, at the movies and whatnot. I continue to love this sweater, it’s super soft and cozy. I force myself to tuck in my shirt, because it really does look better. But man, do I want to hide the tummy! Also, the angles on all of my pics are a bit weird, as it’s the only way I can take them as close to the mirror as I have to stand. I’m really not THAT blessed in the boob area 😂

Love your outfit and your figure!! You have such cute curves and are so well proportioned!! I can see you shrinking every day!

Yes, I think the compulsion to hide is definitely still with me from my OB days. I'm not sure if I will ever be able to fully ditch the issue or the BD. It does get worse after the 40lbs hon. But you also start feeling so amazing! That at least in the daytime with clothes on, you feel like all that a bucket of fried! LOL. So losing the last 40lbs is worth the skin/wrinkle attrition clothed. LOL. I'm still trying to figure out if it was worth it nekkid. ;) So far Mr. Grumpy Pants thinks maybe no. IYKWIM? Ha!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
