Bulletwithbutterflywings, thank you for the encouragement I have been beating myself up all night. Thinking what the hell am I doing I am having major surgery on Monday and if I can't do this I am setting myself up for failure. Today I am going to get back on track and work hard at drinking Water. I too like that saying and am going to see if I can

somehow set it up on my phone as a reminder this week.

Ah my favorite Lavender-type Lady! So happy happy things went well, I will be listening breathlessly for the next installment, partly because I'm asthmatic. Grabbed my Symbacort and I'M READY! Hugs Frustr8

Sorry for this weird post- these quote boxes were somehow stuck in my reply and I couldn't get them removed, no matter what I did? Please ignore! I will post below.

Just an update to say I am out of surgery and doing well. Had RNY yesterday. Pain is not too bad and I am drinking Water ok. May even get to go home today! :) Will update when I can.

Wishing good things for each of you! Thanks for being such a supportive group!

Thanks, I sure will. Found out I rather like losing weight, used to kill my home scales because they were so mean to me, never seemed to recognise my efforts and give,me credit for my attempts. Once marched out to the metal dumpster, threw it at the back wall just to hear it crunch and fall apart. Mean luttlecritter, aren't I?

My surgeon calls this a modified diet for2 weeks. shakes for Breakfast and lunch and then 4oz of Protein and veggies. It's hasn't been awful...

I'm totally jealous lol. I get shakes for every meal and sugar free Jello or pudding and popsicles for Snacks. broth too.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
