Does this mean my liver shrinking diet did not work? I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow and am worried my liver won't be ok. Today is liquids only.

Sounds fine to me...did your doctor give you a set amount to lose? If not, you should be okay.

Sounds like you did fine. You could be retaining Water too, effecting the scale.

Thanks, all! I was just worried that it didn't work and my liver would still be fatty, and that would impact the surgery. Guess I'll chill out!!

I think you're on the right track just keep up the good work. I'm not on a liver shrinking diet but I've started eating clean & 1500-1600 cals a day and loss 5lbs in 7 days. I eat everything just in small amounts. My surgeon requirement was 2 days of liquid diet before surgery.
