It’s Sunday night. My surgery is Tuesday. I’ve actually made it through 13 days of a liquid diet and lost 11 pounds. Tomorrow I’m on clear liquids all day. I also am having my teeth cleaned tomorrow.

I am very nervous.

I keep thinking I’m forgetting something.

Don't forget to take your measurements!

Try to relax. Focus on where you want to be in a year . . . in 5 years . . . in 10 years . . .

being nervous before a surgery - any surgery - is completely normal! I agree with the others - take pictures (from all four sides!) and measurements - I took both the day before surgery and every month on my surgery date until I hit maintenance. I am SO glad I have all this now! It was a great way to document my journey and to see my results of my efforts!

Even at times that weight loss slows or stalls, you often lose inches. It helps to keep you motivated and positive during the trying times!
