Is it wrong or ok
I’m 3 years out from my surgery. I’ve maintained my goal and been the same weight (within 5 pounds) for the last 2 years. my husband used to sleep eat. When he quit drinking, he stopped sleep eating too. I’m not saying this is the case with you.

Is it wrong or ok
There are days that I am actually HUNGRY and will eat more carbs than I usually would, but they are few and far between. So, I would say that it is ok. It is ok as long as it doesn’t become a daily trend. You have to listen to your body. My doctor has always stressed to stop eating when I am full. I think about this on the days when I am hungry: but, most days it’s not an issue. I am 3 years out and really good and picking my portion sizes.

3 years out and still afraid of gaining the weight back
HW - 237 LW - 137 (this was also my goal weight) CW - 155 I hit my goal weight 8 months after surgery (November 2019) but, by about 13 months out I was up to 150 pounds, and have been maintaining my weight in the 150’s ever since. I have maintained my weight here for two years and am comfortable, but still long to lose the 20 pounds I regained, and STILL fear gaining back all of the weight.

Pounds lost
I’m reading many of these posts today. This was a major issue for me the first two months after my surgery. It’s important to realize everyone is different. I only lost 10 pounds my first month after surgery! I’m 4 months out now. I’ve lost 60 pounds.

Pounds lost
I have been losing very slowly. My highest weight was 237, I was 226 on the day of surgery. I’m 11 weeks out and have only lost 37 pounds. I’ve lost 48 pounds of you include the weight I lost during the liquid diet before surgery. It’s says somewhere online that you will lose 5-15 pounds/week, but that isn’t always that case. Hang in there.

March Bypass Buddies
I was 237 the day before my liquid diet, 226 on surgery day (3/26/19) and I’m 202 today. I had the bypass. 24 pounds lost in 6 weeks and 2 days. So, I guess I am losing a half a pound each day.

I’m having trouble with water too. I’m also having major trouble with protein. The only thing I’m actually good at is vitamins. I hope this gets easier.- March Bypass Buddies

I’m 4 weeks post op today. Over the weekend I had a migraine and had to take a Tylenol that couldn’t be crushed and I was fine. I’ve been taking my pills whole since then and I’ve been just fine.- Pounds lost
I’m 4 weeks out and in the last 6 weeks (including my 2 weeks of liquids) I have lost 30 pounds- Teriffying experience blockage of food
My surgeon also told me I could advance to soft foods early. Everyone is different and our surgeons tell us different things. People at this forum should not be telling others what is right for them.- March 27th surgery date
I’m so sorry! That’s awful! Please keep us updated- One day until Surgery jitters
Surgery went well. Recovery has been seemingly slow and steady. I’m in a good place today (10 days post op). Thanks for asking- Hiccups
I got them for 30 minutes and they started about 30 minutes after I ate. I have been strict on my diet and am only eating a total of 3/4cup of food per day (3 meals of 1/4cup puréed food). I cannot imagine this causing dumping syndrome- ADD/ADHD Meds Post Gastric Bypass??
I’m only 8 days out. I just started taking my adderoll again today and only took 1/4 of my regular dose. I take two 20mg instant release tablets a day. Ive also taken focolin, vyvanse, concerta, and ritilin over the years.- I'm in despair
Isopure is a clear protein drink that tastes like watered down koolaid. I don’t recommend doing it like I did in this picture (I made ice cubes and blended it) but just cold out of the bottle it’s good.- Today was my farewell to food! Surgery date set.
You can do it! I’m 8 days out of surgery - I started my liquid diet 23 days ago. It is not easy but you can do it! - March Bypass Buddies
