NIOXIN hair product

Recommended Posts

I had no results with it. It's expensive for it to not work.

I had thin hair to begin with but it is MUCH thinner now. For about the last month I've been losing a handful each morning (such a tragedy).

There are several hair threads on here and we have been reassured that the hair will grow back in time. Just how much time we don't know.

Good luck with your hair!

:P

I've been using it for a few years since I have a condition that makes my hair thin. My stylist assures me it's great, but who knows for sure? I haven't lost anymore. I've heard that a trauma will make your hair fall out and you'll get it back in 3-6 months. I had a major move in March, my hair got really thin on top, but now I can see hairs growing back. So my trauma was a move. I think it's the trauma of the surgery itself that causes it, but I'm not a doctor. I think if you're eating healthy, taking Vitamins, and maybe a Biotin pill for goodluck, you should be able to keep your hair or help it grow back. Just my opinion.

I started losing my hair about 4 months after surgery. I did use Nioxin and it did not help at all. I spent a lot of money on that Vitamins and protien shakes. Nothing helped. Only time worked for me. It did stop and it did grow back. I lost about 50% of my hair though. It was very scary for me. But all is well now and it was totally worth it. Good luck to you.

I have been using Nioxin for about a year. It did not stop my hair from falling out. I began losing my hair at about 4 months out from surgery and it recently stopped. I continue to use Nioxin because I like the product (and thanks to my hairdresser, I get a great discount). I tried everything while my hair was falling out and nothing really worked, it just stopped by itself. It is a very traumatizing thing but it will eventually stop and you should be fine.

Thanks mumof2boys!! I'm at five months and mine has been falling out for about a month. I'm going to cling to the hope of one more month and hopefully baby hair sprouts will be mine!!!!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
