Any Alberta VSG patients that were covered by Alberta Health Care?

Hello,

After 2 years of waiting I have an appointment at the bariatric clinic next month. I'm wondering what I can expect when I go for my appointment? My doctor asked if I wanted a referral a couple years ago and I said that I would but now that the time has come I'm not sure what I'm in for. I'm assuming this appointment is far from meaning I am qualified? I'm worried to get my hopes up and then go only be to be told it was a 2 year wait for nothing.
