Hownlong was your stall and hownlong after surgery did it start. I am sooo...discouraged right now due to my stall. I stalled in the 2 week after surgery and now I'm at 3.5 weeks and no movement on the scale at all.

I lost surgery weight in about 10-12 days. Then I only lost about 3 lbs the next 2 weeks. Then things kicked in and I'm going down every day! I was getting so worried that I had done this surgery for nothing, but I just needed to be patient. Now I'm on a roll, and I'm sure you will be soon too!

I'm curious how many calories you're eating and what your Protein intake is. My protein is supposed to be between 74 and 90 and she hasn't really given me a calorie goal. Instead they are just concentrating on protein, Water and eating nutritious foods. My stall just broke as well. Lost about 3 pounds in two weeks. I needed to add in complex carbs to break the cycle!

So, my protein goal is 75 grams day, which I just started hitting regularly in the last week or so. The absolute max calories I've gotten is about 700, but I average around 600 give or take 50. (I track in myfitnesspal.com.) I just finished a week of soft foods (soft cooked eggs, fat free refried Beans, can tuna or chicken, soft cooked, mashed vegetables.) This week I can start ground meats, soft cooked beans/lentils and vegetables. I've also kicked up my workouts by adding more resistance/lifting along with cardo.

Hi! I'm eating about 300 to 500 calories per day. My Protein goal is a minimum of 65 grams. I'm on soft foods like cottage cheese, string cheese and yogurt. I use GENEPRO Protein Powder in my coffee in the AM OR I'll have a Protein Shake. No fruits or veggies until Wed. Starting week 4 I can have soft veggies and fruits. Doc wants me to drink 64 oz. Of Water per day but I'm only able to get in the 40s most days. I have my one month follow up tomorrow. I'm anxious to hear what the doctor says about the stall. I need to break this thing...lol

One of my issues is that my right knee needs replacing and it is so painful to walk. That is all I’ve been cleared to do at this point. However with a few fewer pounds on me its slightly less painful so I pushed myself to go for it tonight. I only made 15 minutes and had to switch to recumbent bike and then hand weights. It’s so discouraging that the knee is preventing me from doing what I want to do after going through this revision but I am trying to make peace with it.

I found myself with zero energy and exhaustion while I was stalling. My nut told me to increase my carbs by having a real Gatorade and some GF whole grain crackers and that’s when it the stall broke. My body was holding onto everything. Good luck at the doc and let us know how you’re doing!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
