Well you're not someone to ignore. And having experienced your on-line friendship, you are adding spice, sass and a better taste to my humdrum Midwestern life! Thanx Lady Sin!

"I see a red door and I want it painted black" Said the Rolling Stones. One of my many Theme songs lol. I'll continue with the Black clothes. Spikes included! Love the side eye looks I get even now. I can never tell if they look because I'm fat, or because I'm an experience!

Good enough for Hendrix, Good enough for me...

If someone remarks on your black clothing, asks you "Whose funeral?" tell them , I haven't decided yet! Probably then the non-your-business will cease. LOL

IF YOU'RE UNDER HIM, YOU'RE NOT GETTING OVER HIM

so true...

I had this secret fantasy of getting revenge with an ex after I lost weight by meeting up for drinkings, looking hot af and not giving him any. But I knew that the flesh can be weak, so I couldn't be trusted to follow through with the not giving him any.

Now, I honestly have no desire to ever see or hear from him again. I deserve better and he is literally not worth my time. That is something I used to tell myself, but not believe deep down, but now I know it's the absolute truth.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
