Need Bariatric Coverage in SC without an Employer

I have been delaying my surgery for years because I just kept working doing the bet I could with my health issues until I found myself unemployed. Now I'm more than ready to commit to my surgery and new life so I can seek new employment a much healthier person. I'm noticing that employer's are discriminating against me because of my size in weight and age. Can anyone please HELP! ME! with this dilemma? I've already completed all but two more appointments before Scheduling my surgery date which I was hoping and praying it could be before the end of the year. I've met with my surgeon and the bariatric team at MUSC.
