Made these today in honor of Valentine's day. Salted caramel Protein cheesecake. The texture was very light, closer to cake than cheesecake. Since I am on soft food phase, I made them without the crust on the bottom.

Japanese lunch date 😍

My bento was teriyaki salmon, salad, vegetable roll & vegetable harumaki (I only ate the rice on the roll), BF had vegetarian fried rice and 1/2 of my salmon, 1/2 of my harumaki & 1/4 of my roll.

We shared Green Tea cheese cake 😎

Time to play catch up. Went to the Cheesecake Factory for Valentine’s Day and ordered the chicken Madeira.

I also am pretty proud because I had one piece of chocolate the whole day and a couple bites of the bear cookie

i think you were right @FluffyChix about being in deep ketosis because the day after this meal I woke up soooo hungry! I think it was the mashed potatoes.

Here was Saturday’s meal at my uncles. It’s a seafood Soup called Parihuela. The whole sea is in one bowl lol Very delicious and filling because it’s just broth and meat....no noodles, no rice, no potatoes.

@GreenTealael I had a Japanese lunch date today too! Your food looks delicious!

My entree was chicken Katsu don. I substituted the rice for a salad but I didn’t touch it and ate half a bowl of miso Soup. I also had one piece of sushi (the one with the spicy mayo on top), a few bites of sips of my bfs veggie soup, and two bites of negima from the bento box. Stuff for the whole day!

I feel a little bad about that one sushi piece because it had rice but it’s one and I’m trying not to beat myself up.

Girl... Don't even stress about a little rice if you can help it. I don't even like rice (shhhhh its a secret) and i ate what was on my roll because its is not life or death (for me anyways) and will not make me want more

If rice is problematic for you, still don't stress, next time request the do not add rice to the sushi 🍣

Thanks! And good idea I didn’t even think of ordering that way. I was going to order Sashimi but I had too much food already.

I’m working on not beating myself up over something so small. It’s been worse because I’m stalling but I guess I just gotta stick to the plan.

Inspired by the chicken Madeira I had at cheesecake. Didn’t eat much of the mashed potatoes but omg I’m stupid full off of a couple bites. Not sure what it is because I made this with zero oil, zero butter, and zero cream. I used about 1/2 cup of fat free fairlife. And the cheese is made with skim milk so idk. Maybe the mushrooms or wine?

What is this sorcery? This dish looks waaaaaaaaay too decadent to be oil/butter/cream-free.

Man, I wish I could cook like you.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
