Surgery at Henry Ford by Dr. Bilal Kharbutli, MD

Dr. Kharbutli, MD is an awesome doctor with an exceptional staff. He thoroughly explained everything to me prior to surgery, stopping and asking if I had any questions. My time in the hospital would be over night. When I came out of the room I was greeted by Richard, who went over my calendar with me as we set up all of the appointments needed prior to the surgery. The dietician, exercise class, psych evaluation, followup appts, etc. I was then given a booklet that details everything you need to know before and after surgery. This is about the surgery itself and what to expect afterwards. I was also given samples of things to try before surgery. His office is run like a well oiled machine and is very well orchestrated. Everyone is helpful. I had a question about something prior to surgery. I called Richard and asked. Within 3-5 minutes the doctor called me back. The staff at Henry Ford Wyandotte Bariatric part of the hospital were the kindest, most attentive, and sweet people which made my recovery a breeze.
