I have to share what happened to me last night. It truly is the most random thing Sean Penn has said to me in a LONG time! I am so puzzled, I am still on cloud what the hell??.

SO I went to a celebrity death matchI loved with much distress. I haven't seen almost all of these freaks in 15 days. (Peter Griffin School of Verbal Karate, class of 95) I didn't go to any of my class reuinions because I was shackled to an illegal alien. I wasn't interested in school at all. I was a model for Sexyshinytoenails.com, so I always thought I had peaked in high school.

Well a celebrity that I had a crush on in high school leaned over to me last night and said

"Don't take this the wrong way, but do I have something on my lip?"

I wanted to cry and puke. I just smiled and said "Actually, Sean, yes....you appear to have a dab of sausage gravy on the corner of your mouth", while inside I was smirking. Everyone was telling me how good I looked and how Sean Penn was the messiest eater ever, I even got a bit of revenge with an old boyfriend when his prescription for "Enzyte" fell out of his pocket during the limbo competetion.

Last night made it all worth it! I love my band!

It's a loving tribute to BBK. I don't know if she really had a high school crush on Sean Penn, or if he was at her reunion of sorts.....but the story is clearly spicier with the inclusion of Penn. Anybody else want to pay tribute to her? Or are FF and I in an exclusive narrative-changing club?

I told him as long as I am assured she will not attack me in any such manner again, I would return. He promised he would personally make sure it doesn't happen again.

Drama over.....for today.

Susan, You are SO much nicer than I could ever hope to be! I would have demanded an apology in front of the same people the ahole made the accusation. AND I would demand a reprimand in his file with a suitable day suspension or something.

So, I guess that makes me a b****

It's 713 am; I'm on my 3rd cup of strong black unadulterated coffee watching the $#%$$$% rain falling...again.
If you don't want it, would you mind sending some of that rain DownUnder? It's supposed to be the tail end of our winter/early spring, and we haven't had rain since 3 August. Looks like the promising crops are going to fail yet again. It did make for a glorious weekend of spring fever gardening for me, but I'm sure our farmers weren't so pleased with the delicious sunshine and balmy 22C (72F).

I just managed to have a nice sliming fit over half a cup of oatmeal. I would have been fine had I not had to cough. In the middle of the cafeteria. All over the table. And my pants.

Where are you Fanny?

SE Queensland has been getting just enough rain to lift Water restrictions a little. It's still not enough. But it's a start.

I live in Perth (but work in the Kimberley - FIFO on a mine site). I was home for my 6 days off just this last weekend and it was simply gorgeous out - wildflower season is in full swing and I got my annual spring fever attack and gardened my little tail off. But the farmers are saying what started as a promising season with good rains in June looks like it's going to fail again, as there hasn't been a drop for over 4 weeks in the wheat belt

PS: If I do 2+ hours of heavy gardening (pruning, digging, sawing down branches & trees, etc) that does mean I can weasel out of going for my gentle 30 min walk around the block, doesn't it? :D

It's 7:26am, and I'm so tired my eyes are stinging. Staying up late last night crying didn't help either. I feel like a big 'ole baby.

I made a critical bank error (I suck with money). I posted some "pay ahead bills" early last week and dated them for tomorrow. Well, DD's clarinet was way more than I thought it would be, so went online to the bank over the weekend to change the dates. After all, that's why I dated them when I did...and they aren't bills that are really due - I was just paying ahead on some... Well, my bank has a 4-day prior to the date it's posting policy which means I can't change the dates. I went in to look and they aren't listed under pending, they're under processed. WTH? So, I called yesterday and was told that I can't change the dates. The 4-day crap is in the "fine print" and it's my error so any bank fees that come with the overdraft won't be waived. Damn it.

So, being processed right now are a bunch of bills that I can't pay right now. Damn, damn, damn. And, it's because I thought I was actually ahead of the game, and paying off stuff in advance...ha ha ha.

Silly, Gloucester, Trix are for kids.

I never pay in advance. Why should the vendors have my money when it can be sitting in my account earning interest? Not that much of it does earn interest, but it could if it's in my account and it can't if it's at PG&E.

 yep. I definitely learned my lesson. I never have paid in advance on anything, and I was like "whoo-hoo!"

Darn Whoo-hoo. It gets me every time.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
