I hate it when people post just to post.....

Recommended Posts

Can I just say too, this person is writing in the new members forums, spewing advice, then I go to another section where most are seasoned vets…

Whatever, chick is delusional and not worth my breath – or finger movement anyway.

Posting just to say I really hate people who constantly contradict themselves.

One minute they hate the fact that they have a band and can only drink liquids because their band is so tight you can see the veins in their eyes. The next, they are so proud of having been on liquids and they are such a success!

One minute they boast of being a size 6, the next minute they complain that if they were to lose five more measly pounds they would look like Night of the Living Dead.

Give me a freakin’ break already.

/rant over

LOL....so said these same words over and over again. Give up, somethings just never change! :frown:

I mean are you kidding me? So right now you are a supersexy curvalicious size 6, but if you lose five more pounds you will be a walkin bag o’bones..

Really.

Get over yourself for real.

LMBA as soon as I read your post, one person came immediately to mind. Then I started digging...and yep I was right. Wow that is scary that we can immediately pick up on the idiocy of posts.

Yeah, im sure you guys know who im talking about, ive seen her posts here and there before.

To her credit there is one thing she is insistently consistent about. The unnecessary need for any type of physical activity to achieve your personal results.

She was in chat the other day when I went in there and she was telling her minion audience how great it was to never have to exercise as long as you stick to a 100% liquid diet – it can work for you too!

I posted that I love to exercise, makes me feel awesome and healthy.

She left.

oh, i've never seen her in chat before ... i usually call her out about being so tight that she can ONLY be on liquids and that's not how the band is supposed to work...

Technically you could; what do we know different??? ha

LJM - the notion of purging on a donut and then hurling on the boss was HYSTERICAL!!!

Serial posting, I know...

But holy numbnuts Batman!

PB'ing is a tool, and it's ok to do it several times a day provided it's not a proper vomit?

You have *got* to be kidding, right?

How long till an erosion or slip?

Let me go ahead and apologize for being a no-nothing pre-bander(!) but does a PB not hurt the same as a "proper" vomit? Does one not regurg acid like with a vomit? Doesn't sound like a lot of fun either way.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
