And the winner in the 'Diagnosis by LBT PJTP posters is......' It was a tie. I have both a sty and conjunctivitis. Well, yahoo! The clinic was filled with coughing, sneezing, hacking people - they must have had a 2 for 1 special on at the clinic or something! Anyway, after sitting in that germ filled office, the doc looks at my eye and says "WOW! You don't often have 2 things wrong in the same eye at once". I'm just lucky I guess! Treatment - warm compresses - easy to do. Drops 4X day - OMG! I have tried 2X now and the only thing happening is I'm having my face washed by the drops...none is getting in!

But look on the bright side -- THREE DAY WEEKEND!

YAHOO! Oh wait...I don't have a working toilet, and I'm functioning on one eye. Maybe not a great long weekend!

It's Friday.. Just incase no one noticed

I noticed....YAY!!!!:frown::w00t:

*taps, i have eye issues as well; probably reason i hate wearing eye make up. i had tried to get lasik a few yrs back, but i suffer from dry eyes. so much so that my contacts have left markings on my eyes from sucking all the moisture out. i get collagen inplants in my tear ducts twice a yr .... so makeup isn't an optimal thing for me ; unless going out.

sure hope you don't have pink eye:(

** just saw your post taps; hope your home and can relax w/the compress, drops - maybe some wine??**

*ebony, reading your post sounds like your work w/a HS mentality of management. really suspension?, goes on your permanent record? - as professional as they may want to appear, they certainly are not.

they are hoping you get pissed enough to quit - do you have a dress code? cause i'd wear my yoga pants & running shoes and have a hell of a walk during lunch if i were you.

*it IS friday brandy & football season is in full swing; have some family in town this evening from NY; who are driving down to houston tomorrow to see the jets play. the rest are here & cooking is more than on tap for me.

*hey G4E - glad to see you posting.

*have a good wkend all!!!

Omg, I'm LOL over here and he's sitting across from me looking at me weird.:lol::cursing:

so, i'm reminded of that scene from the 'war of the roses' where the kathleen turner character turns on every appliance and goes to bed.

i would escalate that to include loud music, dogs barking, and sneak his cell phone to go off on the 15min mark - EVERY 15mins.

i would also gather every small child i could over to babysit (i don't do kids mind ya)..... i could keep going:)

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
