Woke up and DH had to be to work in 15 minutes, interesting since it is a 25 minute drive!!!! OOOPs!!! My late day in to work, we have no patients on Thurs. Just me, lab work, paperwork, and the ever present, ever ringing stupid phones!

TY for the kind words all.

I need to take the test, I usually blow them off, because they are way off the mark!!! I took one once that said I was a Trailer Trash Barbie Doll, made me laugh!!

Will check in after work--yeehaw! NOT

PJTP...Good morning Everyone!:)

It's a bright and sunny day and I'm feeling great! I'm slowly eating my way through a egg white flatbread sandwich from Dunkin Donuts and making sure I don't over do it, which means I'll probably only eat half the sandwich.

Got a moderately busy day ahead, but nothing too exciting. I'm having a wonderful morning so far, and just wanted to share my good mood with my PJTP family.

How have things been at work since the last meeting, Ebony? Strained? Weird? Stressed? What did they do, just write you up and leave it be? Did you ever get to respond? I may have missed a post while I was in Houston.

Hi Beth!

How have things been at work since the last meeting, Ebony? Strained? Weird? Stressed? What did they do, just write you up and leave it be? Did you ever get to respond? I may have missed a post while I was in Houston.

Things have been quiet but weird around here...there is an undercurrent of tension. I walk past an office, and conversation stops; giggling among them is not extended to me (no sharing the joke, etc); a project I was supposed to be helping with is moving forward without me, and it's just plain weird around here.

I haven't finished my response yet - I am compiling a list of tasks that I've been cited about which I do not have detailed instructions for. The tasks that I have three pages of instructions for, they don't seem to have a problem with, so my union reps suggested I document the procedures as I understand them to this point and let them review the instructions and provide clarification. That takes the "subjective" out of it, and if I follow THEIR instructions to the letter, but it's still incorrect, it's as much THEIR fault as mine.

I think this might be helpful - if to do nothing else but buy time...I have another interview on Monday, and the job I had two interviews for has been posted on the job web site as open again. I did send them an email asking about my status, but no word as of yet.

I kinda laugh about it all - it seems so juvenile at times. I'm in no-man's land, so to speak. Not really a part of the "crew" of other clericals, but not part of the management "crew" either. For now, that suits me just fine...I would prefer to be left alone rather than harassed for stupid stuff.

Last couple of projects they DID give me to work on have gone swimmingly - a spreadsheet of info for an outside vendor that was requested months ago (BBoss never got around to doing it); plus the annual archiving of student records (ongoing) and shredding of older records (just about completed).

I'm hopeful about Monday's interview - keep a good thought for me!:)

That sucks... but I guess it could be worse.

GOOD!!! I'm SO glad you are moving forward with that suggestion! I remember when it was discussed a couple weeks ago. It's a good CYA strategy, not to mention a viable way to try to figure out where you keep "going wrong" rather than constantly walking around in the unknown.

I think this might be helpful - if to do nothing else but buy time...I have another interview on Monday, and the job I had two interviews for has been posted on the job web site as open again. I did send them an email asking about my status, but no word as of yet.

I don't get it... what does that mean the job is open again? That they are re-posting it and you didn't get it?

Understood...

That' just gotta KILL them! It proves how professional you are -- that you are on the fence and still you put out your best and finest work! I bet they are used to those who either give them an I-don't-give-a-crap attitude or those who just fold and leave. Atta girl!!

I'm hopeful about Monday's interview - keep a good thought for me!

Oh, honey, I'm already slicking up my body with scented oils in preparation for the biggest nekkid bonfire dance evah! And ALL OF YOU are invited to join in!!

Time to make the natives restless!! :)

Well... just got a call from the agency. The firm has decided not to hire or create that position at this time. Nice.

well now you know & your school plans can go on - so long as your home life is OK, whats that status?

pjtp - in a fog, i am trying so hard to get my legs to match how my arms have turned out, and i officially feel like gumby. wanted to call DH to come get me after my spin class - legs were shaking, .... i'm such a goober :)

:) Isn't a goober a peanut?

Sometimes you feel like a nut...sometimes you don't.

DH is in meetings, I had no alternate lunch plan and so got a sub from the vending machine. Why? Why do I still look for the most "bang for my buck" when I know I can't eat it all.

I took 3 bites out of a $2.50 foot long and here it sits, staring at me saying, "ha ha ha... you dummy."

Or, maybe it's the voice in my head saying that.

Yes, What she said and asked. We are all interested in the home status but needed someone else to ask.

And I am the reverse...my legs are ok, but my arms with their built in flesh wings are just not pretty. And short of PS, never will be.

Stop typing what I am thinking. It's kinda freaky!

No. I think it's the food. Same way that food can call out to me...come on. Have one bite. One bite won't hurt. :)

LULU: You are a good friend to have! Bless you!

Kat: You have been through alot and we have much to learn from you. You are a classy and well thought out lady. Thank you for being you.

Yeah, but you're never here! :tt2:

Didn't think I"d see this did ya?? Ha! Well i did! Now what? I don't really know.. LOL :) Don't wanna git all ghetto up in here!

As a banded person with braces, how the hell am I supposed to eat!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?

I wanna get my mouth wired shut. I'll let you know after I do.

Off to the Farmer's Market for some fruit. BBL!

Oh I love the Farmers Markets! All the flowers and fruit, can't beat it! I like the really big ones where you can buy soap and clothes for like a buck. Fun!

Ratso-fratso - kick the wall!!!!!!

:lol::lol::lol: Just deserved an encore!

Sports fans.....I hate sports. I am so glad DH is atypical in that way. He has no interest in football so never are our lives planned around 'games'. And games mean something fun to do, not work. And being paid obscene amounts of money to do it seems just so wrong.

** Tap now finishes her post, and ducks!**

I love sports! I love them more than my DH! Go Kings! Go Giants! Go 9ers!

Ok so I avoid all those crazy quizzes on Facebook like the plague - but saw one tonight that cracked me up and I had to do it:

it was the 'Are you Ghetto?' quiz - crack me up

Apparently I am not ghetto (shocking I know) I am bourgeouis - don't think that quite fits either but hysterical none the less.

I'm gonna take this quiz when I get home. I mentioned I hate Ghetto. I have a feeling I'll be hatin myself.

DD doesn't know it yet but my mom and I are going to try to get her a pony ride this weekend! There is this "Funderland" place in Sacramento and there are pony rides outside. I haven't told her and I'm going to tell my mom not to either in case they aren't there on Saturday for some reason. She want's to ride a "big horse" so bad! I don't think she realizes how big, "big horses" are so we'll start with a pony first! If that goes over well, my mom is going to set up another time for us to go trail riding at a stable she goes to. DD will ride with her for that one. I haven't been on a horse in over 20 yrs so talk about rusty! LOL!

That place is a blast for kids! I used to love it there. I would always beg my Mom to take us. You will like it. We've been having some outstanding weather lately. No heat!! It can get really hot here if it really wanted to.

GFY Lulu! Get your workout on!

I just wanted to share something. I bought some really freakin great athletic shoes. I'm sure most of you have heard of em already since this IS a health related website. It's called Skechers Shape Ups. They are really badass! I did only one mile in them and I feel like I did 3!!!:eek::eek: Loving it! I haven't that great since I used to run. I miss it so much! :tt1:

Skechers at Kohls.com

I didn't get these from Kohl's I got them from Macy's for total 87.00 which includes our sales tax. I just couldn't find the exact pair on the net so I found it at Kohls. I have the Black/White pair. Here's a pic if you don't wanna click the link.

Also, I'm going to go out and buy an elliptical machine tonight. Walmart has some great deals on Golds Gym! It was only about 500 bucks and since I got it I might as well buy something worth while.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great day!!

i shouldn't complain - but my outter thighs could stand a bit of Lipo, since all the squats in the world isn't working on that "blip".

i'll post a pic i took yesterday when DH said i looked good & didn't NEED lipo.....probably take it down later (in my laundry rm).

DIVA - i tried those on at dicks sporting good......they ARE heavy, how do you like them.???? i wouldn't mind the investment if i heard a few reviews...

ok - my one & only pic of me on this website (other than hidden avi:tongue:)

You guys crack me up!

Beth - sorry about the job, we'll just have to pray for a better one to come along. Have also been wondering about your home life - don't want to hound you - just want you to know I'm thinking about you and care how things are going.

Glou - Know how you fell about the food. I have these buy 1 entree get one free coupons - so I went to this really good italian restaurant to redeem it after running errands. So brought home 2 giant containers of food and proceeded to pack up 10 servings into little containers for the freezer. I mean seriously - the food gets freezer burned before I eat it. Last night I was looking in the freezer and was like this is ridiculous - one of the Entrees was gnocchi - what sort of nutritional value is that going to give me in the quantity that I eat it. So I threw it all in the trash this morning - and there's the waste!

Tap - you would not believe the bat wings hanging off this frame - I could take flight!

Been busy all morning baking - made blueberry zucchini bread and muffins and zucchini brownies - can you guess a friend gave me some zucchini - made me think of you Luluc!

TTFN

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
