So you are saying that the polar ice caps *aren't* melting. Sorry, but that's a fact, honey.

Condescention by calling me honey isn't nice and not necessary. :frown:

I'm not saying they're not. I'm just saying that I don't believe we are the cause of it. The earth goes through cycles. Otherwise we'd still have dinosaurs. What do you think caused the big issue there, carbon emissions and greenhouse gases due to... what?

I simply believe it is yet another way for the government to get its hooks into us and further restrict capitalism.

Now, I'ma gonna go duck an' hide before TnT comes after me with her whip and chair.

C'mon Beth, do it!

Omg, I'm getting flashbacks of episodes of Let's Make a Deal, with the crowd yelling, "Door number one! Choose door number one!!!" "No, door number two!! That's the one, do it!" "Door three! Door three!!"

What to do... what to do... I can't take the pressure.

Beth - images at 5am of Plain doing his bow-chicka dance somewhat disturbing...of course he is wearing a stetson and eating cheetohs too.

Sorry. I know vomiting on the band is a big no-no. And that stetson and cheetohs thing about did it. Is he dressed like that guitar cowboy in NYC, in baggy fruit of the Looms with orange stains on them too?

that would be my kindergarten teacher:tongue2: can't believe your just now trying that!!!

ok - bypassing global warming talk to say that i'm craving fish - and not the fishy kind the regular fish kind......

Good lord, do you know how hard it was for me to even write that? I don't know anybody who is farther right-leaning than I. I think I threw up in my mouth just a little at the mere thought that that blow hard could even make a right turn, much less a right prediction. :frown:

Ok, you are forgiven.....for now.

Even if he's correct? After all, he's just quoting respected scientists; it's not like he came up with the theory all by his lonesome.

True, but didn't respected scientists once say the earth was round and the center of the universe?

Not saying, just saying.

You ain't from the south, iz ya? :w00t:

I hear celery will be difficult to eat, but Peanut Butter is pretty good on that too.

I grew up in Iowa and southern Missouri, does that count?

If it's any consolation, I spanked myself for you. And I promise, I didn't like it. No, really. :w00t:

Must.....enforce.....inner.....filter............too late.

that would be my kindergarten teacher:tongue2: can't believe your just now trying that!!!

What can I say, I'm a litte slow.:frown:

Psst... Ceredad... the earth is round.

Actually the center of the universe thing is kind of a myth too. At the time of Galileo, most scientists didn't believe that. It was the Church who was out to get Galileo that prosecuted him for blasphemy, not other scientists, whose main fault at that time was keeping their mouths shut so they wouldn't get prosecuted too.

Donna - great pic!

Thank you. I love you, too!

The best "bow-chicka" dance is by the asperger guy on Boston Legal which I'm sad to report aired their final episode last night. It was a great finale though!

:frown::lol::w00t::lol::w00t: Dangit, that would be the dangers of posting too early.

According to the Mayans, the world as we know it is going to end 2012 anyway, so let's just party like its 2011! :w00t:

I used to raise guinea pigs. They're cute.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
