I love the pictures too, Fanny. Especially the storm photos. Tornado's fascinate me and I am bound and determined to go on a storm chasing vacation someday.

No... :) Whose palm do I have to grease for that one? And don't say yours! :P

you better hope it is only his hand he wants greased!

Fanny the pics are gorgeous...someday I will get to Australia (and New Zealand as I have a few friends who emigrated there).

Freakin snow is falling again; my walking shoes have sprung a leak so cold icy slush was seeping into them on the walk to work...brrr!

Oddly enough, almonds are high on this list and I eat almonds almost every day, so maybe it's just the dehydration for me :). This is a constant problem where I work because of the heat - it's really hard to drink enough Water every day!

Usually for me it's the opposite. I have a hard time getting in all my water in the winter when it's cold.

I dunno, they knocked me flat on my butt this morning. Got up at 9:15 cuz the phone rang, came downstairs, sat here for 45 minutes, went upstairs to watch People's Court in bed, and in 15 minutes I was out... until noon. Ugh. And I'm still not fully awake.

My surgery was Friday afternoon, but it wasn't until Sunday that I felt like I had been hit by a truck. Saturday wasn't horrible... bad but not horrible.

Today I just feel ugh. Don't know if it's something I need to be worried about just yet or if I'm getting better in stages. I don't feel as good today as I did yesterday... and it's not really a pain thing. Just kinda... ugh.

AND WELCOME, FROGGI!! :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
