Yes same. I feel like my back rolls are still the same as if I was at 270 lbs still. Maybe it's just us focusing on them too much. My tummy still kinda hangs which annoys me, as well.

Might be preferable to cushion belly-itis, I have a cousin with Dolly Parton syndrome. She floats upright when she goes swimming. Its natural too, I said to her "Pammy Jo". yeah we do have a Dixie branch, "guys just must love to see you!" She said " I'm thinking of changing my name to Palmy Jo, guy came up to me and palms forward tried to rub my breasts", she said "all I could think to say was EXCUSE ME!" Now I can think of a few more things I SHOULD have said". She is really a very nice person but Mother Nature was cruel to her and she says she has yet to have a guy looK her in the eyes. [emoji20]

Let me share what my gynecologist, the little twit, said to me. He's doing my breast exam, looks up at me and says " for a fat girl you're not overly developed there!" Those C cups nursed 3 babies, thank you very much! I'm naturally a Junior albeit a very very large one. If they ran that large I would be a 27 or 29, so my dream is to get down to a 15 or so. Much less with my bone structure I would look emaciated. As a clue, although my fingers are NORMAL sized, did you know the average American woman's ring size is a 6 and half, that's my left ring finger, the right is somewhere between 6 and 6 and.a quarter, I have longer than average thigh bones and size 11-12M feet. So a 15 would be so cool for me at 72.[emoji13]

Wow that's a really inappropriate comment. I think you need to find a new doctor.

Haven't been back to see him[emoji107] since, figured at 72 and sexually continent at this point, dang it, not enough,is going,on down there to require a Pap test. If I had an unquenchable desire to have one My PCP could do it, and. Medicare wouldn't pay for one after 75 anyway because then they don't think it mandatory. And my PCP is pretty polite, if he isn't I call him "Junior" and he usually backs down. In fact he's one of my biggest cheerleaders when it comes to me having bariatric surgery. Said not only would I feel better about myself physically and emotionally, he' d like to keep me as a patient for many more years. He said that and then I swear, we both blushed, well at my age it could have been simple flushing but I accepted it anyway.[emoji13]

I’m in the same boat. My butt is so flat it sometimes hurts to sit down. If there was only a way to transport the fat around my stomach into the bags that used to be my butt cheeks!🤣😩😩😩🤣

Omg, this happens to me too! Sometimes when I’m driving I can feel the bones shifting around on my flabby ass. It’s really uncomfortable!!!

I’m down 20 lbs. everything fits the same. I haven’t looked in a mirror yet. I don’t know when I will. I have no clue where the weight came off.

has anyone tried the waist compression or waist trainer? I'm gonna use it after I'm cleared. I hear it helps.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
