Defintly keep an eye on it. In fact I would at least let my team know what is going on. You want to keep them in the know. Be sure to keep up on your fluids. Congrats on having your WLS!!

I agree with @shedo82773. Let 'em know. Mine was let them know any fever over 100.4 or any low grade fever lasting longer than 24 hours.

I ran a 99.somepin on and off for about 2-3 days during the afternoon and early evening. Then it would go away. Someone said that's often a result of anesthesia. So I did a bunch of deep breathing work and coughed my toes up and hocked a few lugeys and felt better! :D

Hope that works the same for you. Drink lots of fluids! Do any of your incisions feel hot to the touch or look redder?

Yes, I was having fevers and chills the first 3 days or so. It's pretty normal. Your body is in shock. Keep an eye on it and see your surgeon if it doesn't stop after a few days.

My incisions are not hot or redder.
I called the Dr. She said I should do the breathing exercises and walk.
Definitely call back if reach 101.5
To be honest I don't feel well enough today to walk.
When at hospital( past 2 days I've walked 3 miles daily)

As others have mentioned, keep an eye on it. I would say that if it climbs above 100.9, please get to your local ER.

Feel better soon! Deep breathing really helps if you don't have a spirometer!

Hi LEILH
I'm telling much better thank you!
Fever was gone after couple days, gas problems under control.
Right now I'm in the process of learning about the case 2 diet and having little difficulties with the Protein shake[emoji43].
So overall I would say...I'm doing good!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
