I was sleeved the same day! I feel great now. Just like pre-surgery. I'm not even really bothered by cravings...just pizza. I'm finally able to get my Protein in now that I'm on solids. chicken makes it soooooo easy! How's your progress? Stw:274 Surw:259 Cw:248.

I found some little 4oz to-go cups on Amazon and filled them with layered ground beef, marinara sauce, ricotta and mozzarella. I take them for lunch at work. Each is about 120 cal. One doesn’t fill me up, though. I’ll have one then another 2 hrs later for lunch.< br />
I’ve also been eating out WAY more than I’d like to be. Work conference this week, travel and being social with friends. I’ll eat a few bites of sautéed brussel sprouts, quinoa, beef stew, mashed potatoes, salmon and spaghetti squash. None of it has bothered me. I’m a little nervous because I don’t know nutritional content or how much I eat but I really can’t eat much before I feel full and I feel like I’m making healthy choices. Avoiding breads.

i had surgery on the 27th and i cant get any food in my except pudding . is this normal.

Biakitty.. I had 1 week liquid then purée which I am still on and like must of us I don’t eat a lot so in a sense I still have liquids also .. so far popsicles, smoothies, beets, hummus, mashed potatoes, I did try the ground beef and cheese (2 baby spoons) and got tired of chewing where it was soft and trying different things but Water is my best first I even put my Protein Powder in it

I just treated myself to 10g of Scharfenburger Bitterweet chocolate (70%) after dinner -- 28 kcal. It was soooo satisfying!! I highly recommend a good quality, 70% chocolate as an occasional treat if you are a chocoholic like me!

I had surgery on the 26th and today is my first day I am allowed to have pureed food which includes pudding. Did you have a 1 week or 2 week liquid diet?

I was sleeved on 3/27/18 and I’m still on liquid diet until Friday 4/13/18 when I will see my surgeon and they will decide if I’m ready for next stage. I’m down 23 lbs, I’m dizzy because not getting enough to eat. So it’s been hard trying to get out there and walk around a lot.

I'm doing pretty good. I'm on soft foods now. It does take effort to get my Protein and fluids but I'm getting the hang of it. I've lost about 14lbs since surgery, 27lbs total (from my highest weight which was a month pre-op) I was hoping to lose more but when I calculate it, I've lost almost 3lbs a week on average so who can complain about that... How about you?

Well i having been doing good , only pureed food , pudding Jello i have tried to eat solids and that was not a good idea so i will do my best to stick with what the Dr tells me . I am down a total of 20 lbs , so that is great i am happy with that . sick of these Protein Shakes but i think this weekend i will try to use the unflavored Protein and hope for the best .

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
