I have the same date!! Ya us!!! I am doing two shakes and a healthy no carb dinner... I'm super excited an counting down the days... but have a tiny bit of nerves - which I know is normal. I started my journey last March so I totally understand about the patience you had to have over the last year.

Congrats on your date! Today is my first day on the liquid diet and it’s not so bad I drink the Premier Protein drinks and they don’t have any bad after taste and are pretty good tasting. The only thing I’m struggling with is coffee I should’ve warned myself from it but all in all so far so good
Good luck to you too !

My pre-surgery diet is full liquid for 2 weeks. My food options are: Protein shakes, skim milk, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, Tomato or cream Soups, applesauce, sugar-free pudding, sugar-free Jello, and broth. And lots and lots of Water or zero-calorie/no-sugar beverages. No caffeine. Very low sugar. I need to do at least 60g of protein and 1000 calories or less.

Last night I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries for dinner. I felt like a prisoner enjoying their last meal! Haha!!

Hi Ladies, I am scheduled for Feb 2nd! Today is day 5 of the pre-op diet. I am allowed to have 2 shakes, 1 meal of 4oz of lean Protein, 1/2 cup of unrefined carbs, and unlimited vegetables throughout the day. It's hard, especially without my tea, but I am taking it one day at a time. Good luck everyone!

I am terrified that I’ll go through all of this and not be successful! Its a terrible feeling. I’m only on day 3 of the pre-op diet and haven’t stepped on a scale, but I feel less “puffy”, if that makes any sense? I won’t let myself step on a scale again until the day of surgery though. This diet is hard enough without adding on the stress I’d feel if the number didn’t go down on the scale immediately.

A co-worker of mine got the sleeve last March. She only lost 3 pounds during her 2-week pre-op diet, but then lost over 100 in the first 7 months post-op.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
