Same here. Been at a stall. It could be my monthly cycle? But I think it's the dairy from yogurt, cottage cheese and string cheese. I'm going to cut out all dairy these next 2 weeks and stick with soft fish and veggies. Hopefully it will help

I was sleeved the 11th, down from 220 to 186. I had a stall about a week and a half ago. I was eating a lot of string cheese and when I cut that out, it helped. I started drinking Gatorade since I got tired of Water and Crystal Light. Is anyone eating solids yet? I've been able to eat meat without any problems.

I can't eat anything. I seem to be going backwards with my eating. I could more 2 weeks after surgery then I can now. I get the bubbles in my throat and my stomach makes all these weird noises when I do try and eat. Cutting out dairy definitely helped I'm losing dramatically but the only thing I can eat that is solid is fish and occasionally veggies.

How far out of surgery are you? I can't tolerate veggies yet. Are you still drinking Protein Shakes?

My surgery was Oct. 16 I can only tolerate squash and zucchini and it has to be boiled and mushy. Gross I know but I can't do dairy it makes me too sick. I try and drink 1 to 2 Protein Shakes a day. Sometimes I can finish 3/4 of it and sometimes barely 1/3. Do you get the bubbles when you try to eat?

With some things, mostly chicken. They put me on acid reflux medication. Are you on that too? Our tummies are still healing so keep that in mind. Have you tried mashed potatoes? About a week and a half ago that was the only thing I could keep down. Now I'm bad and eat a few French fries now and then lol

I'm taking OTC for acid reflux. Mashed potatoes are too heavy I tried that already. I tried eating 1 french fries and it hurt going all the way down. So won't be doing that again. I'm trying to get creative and make me a chocolate chip Mug Cake with my Protein Powder. I'm also making Protein pancakes and Peanut Butter protein Cookies. None of that matters because I can't eat any of it. So I'm just freezing it until I'm able to eat more than flaky fish *yuck*

I hope that your situation gets better and you're able to eat more soon! You're doing great too! I haven't even thought about making Protein Cookies or anything. Maybe I'll try making those so I can still have some treats around Christmas time. Don't get discouraged! I wish I could offer more help but I'm still new to all of this :(

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
