November 7th sleevers

Well almost 6 weeks. Doing well. Lost 42 pounds. I'm not eating a hole lot but I'm making my numbers. Been walking 20 min a day which comes out to a mile. But its getting cold out. I'm getting between 600 and 750 cals a day. When I do eat I always feel so full afterwards. I'm eating slow but not judging right amount to eat. Hope everyone is doing well and to have a Great Holiday. Joe.

Hell everyone,

how is everybody doing? I am doing okay I have lost 24 since the surgery. I can’t believe it has almost been two months. I am eating okay and trying to exercise. Saw my surgeon yesterday and he said I have to exercise more. I am having a hard time eating chewable vitamins they taste awful. Is everyone up and exercising? How is the weight loss going?

Ughhh,

Stalled and frustrated with my eating routine. I need help trying to figure out how to get more Protein based calories in. It's hard because I'm still struggling to eat more than 2oz of dense Proteins at a time, and by then I have to move on to hydration 30 mins later. I have resorted to using honey in yogurt because it adds calories but does not take up additional stomach space otherwise I'm at about 400 calories and I believe my body is trying to go into starvation mode but honey adds sugars, le sigh.

I'm eating about 500-700 calories a day, mostly 60g protein almost 48g carbs. Maybe im doing it all wrong. And ideas, plans, prayers?

Anyone still have nausea, I feel sick when I wake up and off and on most of the day. Hunger is real , but I'm being good. Water consumption is a struggle so I've been drinking hot Decaf tea. I'm having a hard time coming up with good food menus that the whole house will eat. Any suggestions?

I'm a Nov 8th sleever, hope you don't mind me jumping in...

I feel great, but I'm at a stall, started working out with a personal trainer, but I don't think I'm eating enough, nothing tastes good, if I plan my meals, I just eat it but searching the fridge on the weekend is horrible and I end up eating nothing...do any of you have a daily meal journal that's allowing you to hit the 70-90g of Protein? ? I'm seriously bored with eating and prepping....

24 lbs is great! I haven’t done much exercise at this point because I am still so darn tired! Our family had the flu over Christmas so we are still all exhausted! Hoping to get moving more.

I hear ya, bored with the same things! I like to have the Premier Protein shakes. I have two a day, one for Breakfast and one for a mid afternoon snack and that’s 60 grams of protein with just those alone.

I still feel nauseous almost daily. Ginger gravol has become my friend. I find water hard as well, as I really want to gulp it down. I have to remind myself to sip!

The Protein Shakes were tasty before surgery but they make me gag now...although I just tried 2 shots of espresso over ice with the caramel shake...just like an iced caramel latte! Maybe my new breakfast?

The shakes are so hard for me to drink now too. My nutritionist recommended the Protein Water. It is flavored watered it is also from premier it has 20 grams of protein and 90 calories. I drink that instead of shakes. I sometimes drink shakes.

Sorry I have not posted. I hope everyone is doing all right nsgirl and newlif have been here from day one and I pray everybody is getting better. I for one is feeling pretty good at 66 pounds lighter. Been though a lot. My knees and feet have given me some problems and I'm like I lost this weight and still got troubles. But they are getting less. My blood work from the other day is great. I'm off all my blood pressure meds as well as a lot of others. It seems I'm getting a little better each day. Wish it was faster but all good things come with time. Keep up the good work and let me know how all of you are doing. It helps me a lot. Joe.

I'm doing pretty well no complaints, finally made into Onederland!!!

May not stay there because I had to many run ins with peanuts... I crave them like crazy. I wonder if that's a deficiency symptom? Anyone else with cravings? Well in going to cut back and move forward. I hope everyone's progress is well and recovery is smooth!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
