lately I have been experiencing different moods..one hr I am happy...then depressed...then feel discouraged...

anyone else feeling these swings..and maybe have an idea why?

7 wks post op.

Operation was July 11th
I got mini panic attacks within the 1st 4 weeks post op. I immediately spoke to the nurse who said it’s normal after surgery to get the blues,which is true,however I’m bipolar so was more concerned. Those episodes of depression have disappeared completely now. You’re not out of the woods yet so don’t worry. Things do get better. At this early stage we’re all still grappling with lots of new instructions ...what you can do,what you must do,and what you can’t do. All these things you learn and they become normal behaviour. Take it easy,one day at a time,it does get easier. If your spikes in mood don’t improve then you should contact your doctor.
