Fluid half unfilled... world of difference

I was having bad reflux and feeling like my food was getting stuck, sometimes felt like over night! On top of that I had been gaining weight from eating slider foods. Went to the doctor and he suggested taking out half my fluid until I'm asymptomatic and then going from there in a couple months.

I'm 13 years banded. I have a 4cc band that now has .6cc fluid. For the first time in many many years I ate a salad! It was so delicious! I'm counting calories on my fitness pal and hope I can lose the 15lbs I had gained.

Has this happened to anyone? Have you ever been so happy to eat your veggies again? I've eaten salad of just lettuce, tomato, onion and sometimes avocado.
