I got surgery 5 months ago and I feel like my stomach has grown more than it should've due to consuming sugar... I think, I still can't eat as much as I want to, but definitely a little bit more since 2 months after surgery. I feel like I'm losing control. I weighed 260 lbs before surgery and now I'm 209 lbs, I feel like I haven't lost as much as I'm supposed to.

You don't need to do any type of cleanse. If you take down the sugar. And go back to dense Protein you will really feel the restriction. Your tummy won't feel bigger if you say had some steak. But would with slider food. Just go back to basics and continue on. I'm on holiday so I am worrying Bout not losing as can't weigh food. Just eating Proteins and tiny amount of veg doesn't allow for.me to over eat. You got this. What is your Daily eating like

Or you can go back to dense Protein and veg. Im sure your stomach hasnt stretched. But you won't feel the same level of restriction with sweet carby things as you will with protein. Steak, chicken, Turkey, fish. Green veggies, Beans. All good filling things. I guarantee you won't feel hungry after a couple oz of chicken.

The minute I eat sugar I want more and at 6 months Out i can tolerate it. I agree with other posters. Count your macros. Most days I get 85 G Protein and under 40 g carbs and 40 g fat. It has worked well for me.

Doing some light exercise. Pilates a few times per week. But I am more energetic and active. I use an app called Baritastic. Definitely consider using it.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
