Post op appointment today...and of course I'm slightly dehydrated. I'm extremely frustrated with trying to take meds, drink water, and make sure I'm getting my protein in. [emoji34]

Perfectly Imperfect

Day 3 at home I passed out. I was using the bathroom and I found myself on the floor. My husband heard me drop. The cause was low blood pressure and dehydration. It's hard but keep trying to drink your fluids. I love water but it has been difficult so I drink Propel which has electrolytes and vitamins and I swear it gave me energy which made it more easier to drink the Shakes. Good luck.

I've been drinking "vitamin water 0" which is the same idea, has electrolytes and vitamins. It goes down easier than water right now. Good luck! "Slightly dehydrated" is better than "stay where you are while we hook up this IV." It's a learning curve for all of us.

My doctor said we should not be drinking plan water. Try some propel, G2 or power aid zero. You will never get pass the dehydration on plan water. I even did full Gatorade till day 7 that was all that helped.
