Hey did you get back from the insurance company? I am also from NY. How was your process if you don't mind sharing that? I have Fidelis and I will have my first appointment at Mt. Sinai Dr. Kini at St. Lukes location on 08/23/2017. I finally made up my mind and I can't wait to get approve and be on the other side losing all this excess weight I have. What Dr. are you getting your surgery done with?

What other requirements they ask you to do? How is it at NYP and are the staff nice? Do they get everything done in a timely manner?

They're extremely helpful they make sure your on top of all your testings. I had nothing but good experiences with them.
Requirements:
6 monthly weight ins
Sleep study
Endoscopy
Breathing test
Echocardiogram
Sonogram of liver
Pulmonary function test
You have to meet with the dietitian (this you pay $250 out of pocket for 3 visits)

Sounds like a whole lot but all these tests can be done within a month. The only thing that takes long is the six months weigh-ins.
