30 Days post op and new to this site

I had my surgery on 6/21/17, starting weight of 216 I am now 185! Thats about 30lbs. I am so happy I did this despite my fear of having my gut rearranged lol. I have more energy and I am already able to come off 2 of my medications!

I am still trying to balancing fruits, veggies, water and protein! I find myself getting constipated. My surgeons office says take milk of magnesia but I think I would like to try something a bot mor natural like prunes or prune juice. Has anyone struggled with this at this stage?

I could use the support and thank you in advance for replying!

I had my surgery april 3rd and i still struggle with constipation i take a stool softener every day and put fiber in my water. Its a small price to pay for the results of the surgery

I had painful, bleeding hemmroids in the first two months. I didn't want to use milk o magnesia, so I added beans to my diet and it made it much smoother. Fiber water might be good too. Good luck!
