I am in the waiting room talked to the anesthesiologist and surgeon is 30 minutes late. I hoped picking up my i pad might bring him . I am hungry and thirsty and getting uncomfortable. My journey to WLS has been very fast since I am self paying so I am very glad. I have been lurking OB bariatric pal but decided to post first thing surgery day. Hope to post in a few hours!

My surgeon strolled in the hospital 3 hours late on my surgery day. While I respect his abilities as a surgeon (and the good job he did with my sleeve), I dislike him as a doctor and a person because of that. (As in I won't allow them to use my story or image in their "successes" area of their website. I won't help him make more money after he was so callous on surgery day...)

Wow I am glad the surgery went well but 3 hours oh my! Mine arrived an hour late and said something about not looking at his calendar the night before, but so far so good. i have heard that they really good surgeons dont always have bedside manner.
