After you visit the doctor and they take blood how much longer is it for them to give you a surgery date?

My surgeons program is at least a 6 month process. He requires us to do 6 months with dietitian, 3 support group meetings , psychiatric evaluation , along with blood work , Upper GI and sleep study. I know some places the process can be pretty fast paced. My experience is the opposite. Hope this helps.
