Nikki, I have a feeling mine will be afternoon too. Just gives me more time to prep, wash sheets, Clean pj's extra scrubbing with the soap docs office gave me. Shower at night and first thing in am. Making sure I don't get germs and get sick. Super good luck tomorrow, all will be in God's hands, and he will be right their with our surgeon!

Woah! Surgery completed successfully! I've been knocked out most ofthe day, so I'm just getting to respond.

Here's a few tips, Ive learned thus far:

1. BRING LIP BALM

2. MUST HAVE THE GAS STRIOS

3. DON'T FORGET A ROBE, UNLESS YOU LIKE TO SHOW YOUR BUTT...LOL

4. WALK, WALK, AND THEN WALK SOME MORE. THIS TECHNIQUE PLUS THE GAS STRIPS...PRICELESS.

5. Try to RELAX...although easier said than done. ..

My pain is minimal for now. I've been sipping on hot Water, cold water and my beloved ice chips. No hungry craving.

Maybe I'll admit, I was worried for nothing.

Good luck to each of you!

So today is post op day 2...had some Jello this morning. Feels like a lot of pressure, kinda like the overeating feeling. It's taken me 2 hours to finish a 4oz cup. I go home today and I'm trying to figure some mushy meal plans. That's suppose to start tomorrow.

I had Gastric Bypass on June 27 I drink 1 oz of Water every 15 min. I've added in 1 oz shots of Protein Shakes. I had 1 oz of Cream of Wheat and 1 oz sugar free pudding for Breakfast . My pain is minimal and mostly caused by gas. I walked 1500 steps this morning and another 1500 before lunch. I am wondering why I am not experiencing the same things everyone else. I'm not complaining. It just worries me that maybe my surgery didn't work. Is their anyone else having little to no issues with fluids going down?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
