I am on day 4 of shakes and I am literally shaking, nautious clammy chills and diarrhea! I know I'm supposed to be detoxing, but is this normal?

Hi, I am sorry this is going on. Could you just have a FLU Bug? What type of protein shakes are you doing? Maybe there is something in them that is making you sick. When did it start? Maybe you should contact your Dr. I didn't have but 1 issue and that was when I drank Premuir protein. I did drink it for my 2 weeks of preop and then 4 weeks postop. Turned out I was Lactose Intolerant so I had diarrhea so bad!! I hope all gets better. Hang tight and just think about your end results!!

Thanks I hope I don't have a bug :( I am using baritrack protein shake. The first couple of days I was constipated, but not now lol...I read about dumping syndrome but that's supposed to happen way after surgery as you reintroduce foods back in. This is just my preop but maybe it's clearing out the bad who knows..I will have to call dr on Monday I guess if it doesn't stop. I go for surgery on the 28th
