Hi all! I don't know why I've never known about this forum! It's absolutely brilliant. I don't know any one else who has undergone weightloss surgery.

In 2013 I paid private and took out a loan to undergo gastric band surgery aged 24. 4 years on all I do is vomit when I eat. I lost 4 stone quick with the band but now it's a mere 2 stone loss 4 years on. I am now post op for gastric sleeve surgery and your stories have really helped me decide on this! I Meet my surgeon tomorrow, and hopefully become a step closer to the right surgery for me.... wish me luck

I just wish I knew a bit more on how the band wasn't so successful and how much aftercare would cost! But here I go onwards and upwards! thank you
