I have wanted to do gastric bypass for so long now. I started the process here in the US, but am considering a different country because of the drastic cost difference. I am considering doing sleeve instead of RNY.

It's overwhelming trying to find the right dr. I want to make good choice.

I'm also very nervous how it all works. Do I pay ahead of time? Do I even use American money in Mexico? Is flight included? How long does it take until you get to have your surgery?

On choosing the type of bariatric surgery, it is important to discuss this with a bariatric surgeon. Some conditions such as GERD can limit your choices. Severe acid reflux (Gerd) will only become worse with sleeve surgery.
