Shoulder pain post op

I was sleeved on Wednesday. I'm still having horrible sharp pain in my left shoulder. They said it was from gas. It doesn't seem to be improving. I'm using a hearing pad but doesn't seem to help and I've been walking. I can't lay flat because it seems to feel worse afterward. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

When I had galbladder surgery it took 2 weeks for the shoulder pain to wear off, it really hurt! It's one of my biggest fears going into wls. However, it will pass eventually. Try to use pillows to prop yourself in a comfortable position, keep using the heating pad, and use pain relievers.

Walk and try heat. Nothing really helps though. You just have to tough it out. That was the worst pain of the whole thing.

Walk, walk, walk!! It helps the gas get moving out.
