Y'all are gonna tire of me talking about the gym! Lol. Had an amazing workout. Did a little cardio, then did some weights. I almost did a full body today. So happy about that. It was just me and a bunch of young guys that could be my kids (if I had them young). Ha! Enjoyed my hour and 15 mins alone jamming to a mix of reggae, rock, and hip hop. Felt so good, I rolled the windows down in the truck and jammed out on the way home.

Btw, my truck feels bigger now. I can only imagine it being moreso months out from now. Lol

Not tired at all. Your enthusiasm is inspirational. This is what we need to be doing "enjoying the experience of exercise ".

Hi girls! So i read our responses and what a coincidence I actually started to puree a little tuna with ricotta to make it smooth and it tastes soo good.. i only do yogurt like once a day and i only do half a yogurt. Another things I started to mar was guacamole, i'm not going to have it everyday but it's so good. I only go avocado, cilantro, onions, lime and salt. All pureed of course. In one day I dropped a pound and half. I lose weight everyday so far now.

That is great hear @mishyk. I love guacamole and have been eating it also.

I am allowed any meat as long as it is chewed to a pureed consistency so I tried steak fajitas yesterday. My stomach handled it fine. I think my sleeve just likes whatever because each new food I have tried has been fine. The only taste that has changed is with scrambles eggs. They taste funny to me now.

So happy your weight is moving down. It is carzy how we can loose a pound and a half in a day!!! That happened to me too.

I have a question, tomorrow we have completed 4 weeks post op. But Thursday is the 15th of the month. Are y'all going based on weeks for the one month post op date or the actually day for it? I'm leaning towards the 15th of every month. It'll be easier for me to track.

Thank you. I am trying to come out of the closet so to speak. That is me about 10 years ago before I started gaining weight. This is how I see myself and where I want to be at goal.

I can't wait to see your pics!!

I agree and even though tomorrow is 4 weeks I am counting the 15th of every month.

Almost a week ago I started weights again. I walk on the treadmill or ride the stationary bike for about 30-45 mins, then I do weights. I've been doing biceps, triceps, chest, and back. This past Sat I added legs. If you're not familiar with what weights to do, form, how much, etc....I'd encourage you to get a trainer if possible. If not possible, look up youtube videos on how to do them properly. It's very easy to get injured not doing so. I aim to do weights 3x a week.

I'll be adding pool time (with my girls probably in a couple of weeks), I want to make sure my incision sites are COMPLETELY healed, even though I was cleared.

I also do JUST DANCE with my girls. Lots of fun!!!

@mishyk I have been using my elliptical several days a week and walking. I am

not a gym person so no weights yet. I may add them in a little further out to help tone my muscles. I think the exercise is definitely helping and I am beginning to miss it on the days I can't fit it in.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
