I was sleeved on may 2 2017

Just curious is it normal to be 2 lbs heavier than the day I was sleeved I don't think I have drank 64oz between the 2 days could it be from the gas they pump your abdomen up with or fist swelling from the surgery just curious

Yes, very very normal 3 days out. They pump you full of steroids while in the hospital, so it will take a small amount of time to work those out of your system.

The drugs to help with the trauma to your body as well as you being swollen will make you be more weight immediately after surgery. In fact I wouldn't start worrying about looking at a scale and tracking weight loss until you are a good 6 to 8 weeks post surgery. That is when you will really start to see it kick into high gear.
