Will Dr's in the USA remove my lap band done in Mexico?

I was banded 7 years ago in Mexico. I haven't used my band in probably 5 years and have it empty. I've been having port pain and some acid reflux. I just want it removed. Will any dr here in the US remove it for me if I had it done in Mexico?

If you go to the American society for metabolic and Bariatric surgery website https://asmbs.org you can do a search. One of the choices of surgery type is "FOLL - willing to follow other patients". This might help.

My surgeon in az said that they take out so many from Mexico, so I know they do it here.

Where at in AZ? Could you share the name of the dr please? I would be more than happy to travel there to have it done.
