Pain when taking deep breath

I was sleeved with hernia repair 3/28 I will be calling my dr tomorrow but I hurt when I inhale deeply I haven't had this pain until today I'm scared

Did they give you a spirometer to do breathing exercises with st hospital? It helps a lot to do those every hour sets of 10? I had sleeve and hernia as well 3/31 I was this way until I did breathing excercises daily every hour. It feels like you're dying but it's gas pains the spirometer does wonders all drs are different so you may not have one hope you feel better [emoji173]️

Thanks yes I had been doing them and hadn't and pain I was concerned because I was just starting to feel uncomfortable a week after surgery but my nurse explained how the body recovers slower sometimes I'm much better today
