So I went to my last pre op appointment on Tuesday. The bypass is still scheduled for early Monday morning yay! So my question is has anyone been told they have a large fat deposit by their heart and that they have a possible hole in their diaphram ? Apparently it's a birth defect because I was born premature. Doc said it was pretty rare . Just wondering if anyone has been told this and how the outcome was ect.

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that! My only issue was having a hiatal hernia, which my surgeon repaired during my RNY. I've never heard of your condition before. I'm assuming because your surgery is still a go, they can either work around it or maybe even try to repair it. Wishing you the best of luck! [emoji4]

Yeah it's still a go the surgeon said he would look at it while in there and repair or go from there ect
