Post Op Full Liquid Diet

I am following my Drs. 2 week full liquid post op diet for VSG. When I eat Soup (tomato is allowed) I only eat a half cup of it. I have yet to feel "restricted" or full and have no problem drinking my Water soon after having the soup.

Basically I'm a little worried that I haven't felt the restriction that so many others talk about! Also if anyone can tell me if there is a way to search the bariatricpal forums that would be great! I'm sure this topic has already been covered! (Nevermind got it!)

Thanks!

I'm the exact same way. I have no problem taking in my protein and water and soup. The only time I felt restricted was the right out of surgery but other than that I feel fine

@veromichelle how far out are you? I am hoping that when I start eating solid foods it will change!

I'm 6 days post op ):

Today was day 1 of soft foods, I ate about 2 oz of baked fish(about 4 tiny bites) and couldn't eat anymore, felt like I just had a huge steak or a burger.....you will soon experience it
