Back Pain Wearing Heels... Did it go away after surgery?

I'm currently pre-op but over the past few years I've noticed whenever I try on shoes with a heel my back and sciatic nerve hurt really bad. I haven't worn heels in years and of course I was close to 100lbs lighter at that time I did wear them.

I am wondering if anybody else had issue with back pain in heels prior to surgery and if it reduced or went away after. It's not just skinny heels it's also booties with a heel that cause pain... which I'm guessing is because I'm so heavy (my back pain and sciatic nerve pain has increased as my weight has). I'm hoping as I lose weight I can wear heeled shoes again since I love booties and would like to add them back into my wardrobe as I lose weight.
