Just wondering who all has UHC for insurance and how fast it all went for them??

Awesome! Did u have other conditions besides a BMI over 40?? And what did they all require for nutrition appts etc etc??

I had sleep apnea, and they only required one nutrition class

Wow, where do you live? I thought UHC made everyone wait 6 months with 6 nutrition classes.

They told me it had to be a total of 6 appointments where my weight was discussed within the last 2 years.. its interesting how every policy is different!

Every policy can vary greatly. I'm in Texas, most policies vary depending on employer. Your employer discusses details that it does or doesn't not want for their employees. I had first appt. with Bariatric surgeon on Jan. 12th and was sleeved Feb. 28th.

I was told it had to do with state requirements.

After I completed my 6 month diet, I was submitted within a week and approved in 24 hours. My surgery was scheduled for the next month.
