I am praying for you! You will be fine! My sister had the surgery and one thing I learned is that you have to follow all of your doctors instructions. And be patient with yourself! It is a journey! No short cuts! Let's stay in touch

RJ, you will do fine. The closer it got for me the lesser the excitement and the more scared I was. When it was overall the excitement came back.

I'm one week post-op and I'm not doing to good can't do no drinking my cramping I call doctor and medical assistance will call back tomorrow

You really need to try to get the Water in. Did they give you any advice :(?

She told me don't force no Water or anything she will call back in the morning tell me what else he wanted me to do

I'm having surgery tomorrow 4/25. I'm not too nervous. But i can't sleep. I got my bag packed. I'm ready for it to be over with.. I will write as soon as I feel up to it..

I had MGB surgery on 4/10/17 and am doing pretty good. Right when I woke up in recovery I was in a lot of pain but they gave me good meds for it. I didn't really have any gas pain so I was lucky there.

I did better with getting fluids in at first but last week was a challenge. I think I'm doing better this week but I don't have much of an appetite so I have to remind myself to eat, which is mainly puréed Soup and yogurt.

I'm so glad I had this surgery. All my worry beforehand was for naught.
