Hey how are you doing. Did the temp go down?

Hi ! Yes thankfully so. I was extremely constipated which was causing the severe pains & I guess fever since I was so uncomfortable. I told milk of magnesia and I'm better but scared it happens again

Well im 38 days after surgery. (RNY)And i did have constipation. But easily resolved. I am still in soft foods. But doing really well. Yesterday i had 100.1 low grade fever. And my dr said not yo worry. I am not constipated and not dehydrated. And everything else look good. No fver today. This is hard. But i guess its all worth it. Lets keep in touch. We have close surgery dates. Have a good one.

Ok you can message me. The low grade fevers scare me. This beginning is hard let's hope & know by summer this will be behind us

I ran a low grade fever for several days once I finally got home from the hospital. The other thing to check is your resting hear rate. I had an elevated heart rate as well during that time (about 110 bpm). Those were the two things we were supposed to call our doc about - if either got over 100. Eventually both came down, but I know the feeling...it's a bit scary so soon after surgery.
