OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES

I just got my surgery date for March the 20th.. I have BCBS TX and I'm curious what others have had to pay out of pocket for the surgery?? and even for the endoscopy and gallbladder test.

My insurance excludes anything to do with Bariatric testing and surgery. I paid out of pocket for pretty much everything i had done. I claimed it on my taxes, in total I paid 16k and only ended up getting 1,300 back from it.
