Hi Everyone-
My surgery was on Jan. 24 with Dr. Maytorena in Mexico. It went very well and I had no problems. I have been "eating" Clear Liquids and then Protein shakes after a couple of weeks. My problem is that I am about 4 weeks out and I cannot have more than a couple of drinks or a few spoons of very soft foods without getting nauseated, a "lump" in my esophagus/stomach valve area and eventually I vomit. I immediately end up feeling much better but I can't be getting much nutrition.
A positive is that I am down 35 lbs but I am wondering if it is almost too fast.
80 oz of protein and 60-80 oz of Water is a dream....no way at this point.
Thoughts? suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
