February 12, 20179 yr My husband pours the beads over 2 tablespoons of SF jello. I just do my best to get them all down. I was told they are time released so they won't dissolve in any liquids.
February 12, 20179 yr I take all my pills whole and two large vitamins since 1 day post op. I haven't had any issues.
February 12, 20179 yr Ask your doctor for a different drug. There are many proton pump inhibitors (PPI) available. I take pantoprazole and that comes in a small, coated tablet. Very easy to swallow.
February 14, 20179 yr Omeprazole is crap! It never helped me. I also took Pepcid which isn't much better.
February 14, 20179 yr Looks like I'm going to have to manually manage the acid in my body by sipping lemon water all day, taking organic apple cider vinegar in distilled water mornings and evenings, and adding herbal tea digestive enzymes daily. Lemon water keeps your body alkaline naturally, apple cider vinegar kicks acid in the butt, and the herbal tea digestive enzymes aid with proper digestion.

Lemon water keeps your body alkaline naturally, apple cider vinegar kicks acid in the butt, and the herbal tea digestive enzymes aid with proper digestion. Just be careful. I took the omeprazole and still got an ulcer. I am looking at bypass revision 3.5 months post op Monday because the ulcer won't heal. It is a serious issue that they are prescribing the PPI for.
